The TV Dinner:
The TV Dinner made it possible for many central values of the Baby Boom Era to come together. The TV, family, and time all came together through the TV dinner. Now mothers didn't have to spend as much time cooking and cleaning and could spend more time with their family and kids, while also watching TV.

When TV dinners first came out, desserts were not included. As the dinners became more popular a dessert, such as a brownie or apple cobbler was included, but not always. This addition helped to reach an even larger audience of consumers.
What are the Logistics?
A TV dinner cost exactly $0.98, which was expensive for this time period, but many people continued to buy them.
